How to use post-it /sticky notes effectively

I’ve been using sticky notes for a couple of months and I have found it immensely beneficial. So in this post I’ll be sharing how you can use sticky notes to stay organized . I’ve included a lot of images as I believe a picture can speak a thousand words 😊

For those who don’t know what a sticky note is: A Post-it Note (or sticky note) is a small piece of paper with a re-adherable strip of glue on its back, made for temporarily attaching notes to documents and other surfaces. It is available in different sizes and colors

So here is are some cool ways to use sticky notes

1. Setting reminders

Here are some examples

You can stick them anywhere from you work/study table to fridge.

This can help you leave important reminders for yourself or for some one else.

2. Use as a bookmark

Alternatively you can use it to organize and categorize papers in a file like this..

3. Summarize

You can use post it note to make short notes/summary of the page you read. This helps you in your second reading. You can also use it to add additional notes.

It can also be used to make your notes colourful.

4 To do list/Planners

You may stick weekly/ monthly goals in a board like this and remove them after completion.

Managing daily chores at home

This can also be effectively used at workplace like this:

Similarly you can use them creatively in your planner/journal

5. Motivation wall : In case you want a daily dose of motivation ,you may create a colourful motivation wall using sticky notes.

You can also use it to decorate your study/work / workout room.

I hope this was useful. If you know any other way to make use of post it notes please comment below.😊
